    Flag Burning
USA Today reports (June 13) that the US Senate is now just one vote short of passing a flag burning amendment. According to the article by Andrea Stone, the first official vote in the Senate since 2000 is set for the week of June 26. The Congress has already passed the amendment, and already all 50 states have passed non-binding resolutions endorsing the amendment. Even if the Senate passes the amendment, three fourths of the states will still have to go through the official ratification process for the amendment to become law. The Supreme Court has previously ruled that such laws are unconstitutional.

In the article, Paul McMasters of the non-partisan First Amendment Center, is quoted as saying the Senate is trying to provide "a radical solution to a non-problem. It's unwise, uneccesary and un-American." I couldn't have said it better myself.

Follow the link for my own commentary, complete with a flag burning video, that I first published on June 30th of 2005.

    A Note About George Casey
George W. Bush is without question the most seditious president the United States has ever known. When the dust finally settles and the smoke screens finally clear, the history books will regard his reign of domestic terror on the American people as the final turning point in the downfall of the greatest democratic civilization the world has ever known. The commanding general of the American forces in Iraq is General George Casey. Recently, the Catholic Pope was heard to cry out to God asking why he had no answer during the Holocaust. I suppose it doesn't occur to Ratzinger that the Pontiff is charged with the duty of spokesman for God, and therefore it doesn't occur to him to simply answer the question himself. Likewise General George Casey is the silent henchman of George Dubya Bush, the consummate "professional" who does his job as he is told. Of course, some people of integrity still recognize the difference between "professionalism" and organized crime. Suffice it to say, I am embarrassed that the henchman carries the "Casey" family name.

    Neo-Nazi Darby IS Winner

    Apparatchik Deny Denier

    Dismissed As non-Reflective Anomaly

The fact is most Neo-Nazi extremist aren’t skin headed juveniles who spray paint graffiti on the subway train. The real neo-Nazis look pretty much like your average business person. They aren’t really in a hurry to complete the putsch. They are sitting back while the wheels turn steadily in their direction, fueled in no small part by the Bush administrations extremist policies. Censorship, invasion of privacy, electronic stalking, video surveillance, security crackdowns, background checks, GPS monitoring...it all adds up, Neo-Nazi Big Brother is closing the loop. Or should I say tightening the noose and turning up the gas?

  • Electronic Stalking II; Gonzales Has Become Sexual Predator
I'm saying that Speedo Gonzales, Troy King, and others are overstating a single crime in an attempt to satiate their own sexual compulsions, while attempting to inflame the baser emotions of the general public, and to desensitize them to the larger scheme of Big Brothers control.

  • Called Into Service...II
Memorial Day and the beginning of summer leaves me preoccupied with other pursuits and so this week I am running another photo. In honor of those who have fought for this country in good faith; with a satirical twist, I call this one "Maple Hill Patriot." Subtitled as a reminder, "The dead aren't coming back." I photographed this tattered flag as I found it during a photo shoot in Huntsville's Maple Hill Cemetery during 2005.

  • Called Into Service...
With Dubya Bush having already committed all the eligible troops, and all the national guard, to whoop ass in Iraq, guard the southern border of the homeland, and prepare for another float-a-rama in New Orleans, I imagine he'll be calling just about anyone, or anything, to help him with his eavesdropping scheme.

I shot this little fella last summer, and as June now approaches, and with little else to say about Dubya this week, I thought he made good subject matter. Looks rather delicious doesn't he? I guess after watching so many episodes of "Survivor Island" the idea of eating bugs just comes naturally. I wonder if he'd be good sautéed or maybe dipped in chocolate? Probably be best with a six-pack to chug it down. [Click on the headline or furry leg for blow-up.]

  • Electronic Stalking
Even twenty years ago, I would have never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that so much obvious corruption in the White House would be so casually accepted by the American people.

  • BIG BROTHERS: COKE & PEPSI
Multinational corporations now tell the school board what to do. Back in the days before deadbeat working moms, kids knew what to wear to school, ate healthy meals at home, and Ritalin was unheard of.

    THEY'RE HERE!

Immigrants gathered in downtown Huntsville in an unprecedented march and show of force on "The day without immigrants." Reports in Huntsville and around the country indicate that many businesses, and even the national economy, did indeed suffer from the missing immigrants who took the day off in order to underscore their presence in American business and economy. Interestingly, these marchers carried American flags, and only one Mexican flag, and were not heard singing the "Mexican American National Anthem," perhaps paying heed to criticisms previously levied at those activities.

  • "I Am The Decider"
(And Apparently The Great Pretender Too)

Let's just call it organized crime. Shades of Halliburton. Six retired generals not fond of Rumsfeldt chime in on cue. So what? The American public sleepeth in short cycles, and the wolf is awake for 100 years.

  • ALABAMA BREAKTHROUGH!
When it comes to baby killing, Alabama does not mince words. Mommy, you can have your cake and eat it too. If you kill a pregnant woman in Alabama, the Brody Act makes it possible to charge you with two deaths if the unborn baby dies too. All the while, the Alabama legislature made a deliberate effort to protect "legal" abortion. Mommy alone decides whether baby killing is legal or not.

  • Universal Healthcare -- Romney My Ass
The bottom line is that Universal health care and Mitt Romney will only make all matters worse. In the long run universal healthcare will caramelize the negative processes that ultimately destroy the notions of democracy, freedom, liberty and the ever more impossibly elusive “American Dream.”

  • Guest Workers My Ass
Millions of American jobs were lost due to NAFTA and GATT because we wanted to help. Our factories have closed up, our unions have closed shop, our discretionary income has steadily dropped, homelessness has steadily increased, and our middle management has all but ceased to exist. We have done enough.

  • Labor Day Stew

Well, maybe W Bush is smarter than we think. After all, we could go ahead and sell New Orleans to the Middle Easterners. This video is an artistic impression created in 2002 and really does seem appropriate in context of all circumstances.

  • Alabama The Backwards?

Well, maybe not always. Kudos to the University of South Alabama newspaper for standing by it's guns and printing the so-called "offensive" cartoon depictions of Mohammad. If Muslims want to live in this country we have a C-o-N-S-T-I-T-U-T-I-O-N. If you don't like it, go back to China.

Sister Christian, did you say I can't do that? Of course I can, I'm NOT federally funded, I'm not the NEA, and I can excercise freedom of speech if I like. And I do.

Backwards Alabama? Well, we know that we are, at least some of us. The latest infractions deserve national attention. First, note that in Alabama the politically powerful AEA has made it clear that NO ONE counts except for school children. A new tax free day for school supplies is in the works while complete families living in abject poverty are expected to pay taxes on essential items like food. Eat your pencil **** Riley. (oh, I see you already did.)

Not only that, but now the Alabama legislature wants to require people running for the elected office of judge to be approved by the Alabama State Bar first. Imagine that, the crooked lawyers are about to get their very own branch of government. The point in elections is that the people can choose whoever they want to serve, if they choose someone who isn't "qualified" according to usual standards, then they would be sending a message that there is a problem in government, and they are excercising their right to make serious changes. Why would the Alabama legislature disallow the right of government for the people, and by the people?

    Remembering New Orleans
(Maybe Ever'thing Don't Change So Much In New Orleans After All)
These pictures were presented soon after Katrina hit New Orleans. With Mardi Gras marching on as scheduled, I though it would be nice to revisit these photos and my thoughts from back in August.

While visiting family in New Orleans in 1991 I strolled through the French Quarter looking for interesting photos. In light of the tragic event now in progress there, I am presenting just a few still life photographs, both dramatic and comedic (in a macabre sorta of fashion), that seems to illustrate something of the spirit of New Orleans. The first photo shown here I believe to be of the same Walgreens that CBS News has featured in recent reports about looting. I guess in New Orleans ever'thing has changed quite a bit.

"Bush Announces New Plan For Al Quiada To Run Hartsfield And Dulles Airports..."
And why not? The real reason Bush doesn't mind allowing related Middle Easterners to run our strategic seaports is that he already knows that 911 was premeditated; and he and his administration had no intention of stopping the farce that enabled the demise of the United States Constitution, and the comprehensive initiation of Big Brother and the Orwellian society in the United States.

    Flag Burning
    Flag Burning Video
Aside from that, if no one could have ever thought of using airplanes for weapons (LOL), does anyone really think that same administration could project possible threats to our national security in our seaports? But, hey, as long as illegal immigration is encouraged as requisite for our economy, while thousands of American workers are removed from the labor pool by ever increasing prison populations, leaving our southern border wide open to everyone who looks Middle Eastern, what difference does it really make?

    A Quail In The Hand Is Worth Two In The Bush;
But Is Cheney Using His Whittington...Or Less?
Looks like they've all outsmarted themselves to me. What more can be said about the friend shooting debacle. Well, plenty really. There are certainly lots of risk taking behaviour that ordinary Americans engage in every day, including hunting, but is it really appropriate for the Vice President (or President), to take such risks when he is in office. And, really, who followed protocol and who didn't? The bottom line, both were careless, and someone nearly got killed. Is that really that sort of guy you want running your country if anything did happen to W? As a team, those two are dangerous, and have been dangerous, and impeachment proceeding should have already begun, and by Gawd let's get the veep we're at it.

  • Billion Dollar Skyy
Back by popular demand, this column first appeared on October 4th of 2001, less than a month after the 911 event.

As violence has erupted by Muslims offended by cartoon depictions of Mohammed, this satirical piece seems apropos. In light of the Bush administrations condemnation of the free press which carried those depictions, a review of this column is a requisite exercise of my inherent and constitutionally recognized inalienable rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of press.

Bush's stance on this issue has been well illustrated in our own country as protestors have been carried away simply because they were not liked by the Bush administration, illegally squelching those inherent rights. Last weeks column below perfectly notes, and is the most recent example of illegal Bush extremism, when Cindy Sheehan was hauled away and arrested prior to the State of the Union Address.

  • "Liberty Is The Hope Of Humanity" !?
If W Bush is concerned about American's financing terrorism...then stop importing oil...

    2006.01.25

    Incredible
I am too stunned and speechless to say anything more about the inherently criminal activity of George W. Bush, especially his ludicrous incantations attempting to justify illegal eavesdropping on American citizens. He must be impeached. He and his aristocratic cabal must be eliminated from power. The Republican party must be purged of the extremist putsch, so that the legitimate two party system in the United States can once again function for the good of all the people.

  • Got Sirius?
The long term implications are almost incomprehensible, hence the much ballyhooed launch of Howard Stern on Sirius. Even though the event is shrouded on the second place service, and under the torrid incantations of Mr. Stern, the reality is that the event is really of Satellite radio in general.
