With the 30th anniversary of the first shuttle lauch this week, and the shuttle program winding down, I dug this one out of the archives. Taken at the Huntsville bicentennial celebration in 2005, it's a gorgeous shot. Too bad the damn thing wasn't turned around with the top facing the camera. Oh well. The underbelly is apropo as an omen to the end. Maybe that's even better.
